Questions companies ask
How long is the free trial, and what happens after?
30 days of the Growth plan, with no payment details. Before it ends, choose a plan; if you don’t, your company becomes read-only and nothing is deleted.
Does Ploti ever hold our buyers’ money?
No. Buyers pay your own M-Pesa paybill or bank. Ploti only receives notice of the payment so it can record it against the right sale and send the receipt.
Can we bring our existing projects and buyers?
Yes. Add the project’s boundary, import the surveyor’s coordinates for its plots, then add buyers and the payments they’ve already made.
How is Smart layout charged?
From KES 3,000 a project when it runs. If the layout you use is worth more than a normal subdivision of the same land, the fee is 1% of that extra sales value, up to KES 250,000, less what you paid. You see the fee before you confirm.
Is a Smart layout ready for the county?
It’s a planning draft. Your licensed surveyor confirms it on the ground and the county approves it, as with any subdivision; Ploti gives the surveyor DXF and coordinates to start from.
What if we fall behind on an invoice?
Fourteen days after it’s due, the company becomes read-only: your team can still see and export everything. Paying restores full use at once.
Who can see our numbers?
Only your team, and each person only what their role allows. Branches see only their own projects.
Can we pay Ploti in dollars?
Yes. Plans are priced in KES or USD, monthly or yearly, paid by M-Pesa, card or bank transfer. VAT is added at 16%.
